Who is it for? discussing who would benefit most from this laptop...
- Student
As a student, I can honestly say that you do not really have a whole bunch of free time for any other activities aside from learning and / or working in your spare time. As a student you come to view time as something precious of which you never have enough of. Therefore, you don't need a whole lot of performance as a student. But if you have some just in case, it never hurts.
Dell Inspiron i15R-1633sLV is pretty darn good for a student. I would even go so far as to say that it is perfect for a student. It has a huge hard drive of 750 GB at 5400 rpms (I have a similar one myself) and enough performance as to handle even a bit of gaming in your spare time, hah :)
- Casual User
The way I see things, no casual user, as far as the ones I know of, know how to make full use of the resources of a PC. Most of them simply limit themselves to web-browsing, social networking, movies, music and the occasional small indie / arcade game. Conclusion: none of them really require a whole lot of performance.
It would be kind of foolish to recommend Dell Inspiron i15R-1633sLV for Casual Users, as it is clearly too powerful and will thus be way too over-priced for said category. I recommend anything Under 400 dollars for most Casual Users, but if you can afford it then you'll have some extra power too play with.
- Business User
One of the main things a business user needs to keep in mind, in my opinion, is mobility. One should consider getting an Ultrabook for the best of results, but since those are often way too expensive, I suppose there are other, more approachable, alternatives.
Dell i15R-1633sLV is a perfect alternative. It is extremely powerful (for a business user, at least), pretty light and maneuverable and it is really reliable. With this laptop, you're basically making an investment, one which will certainly pay off later.
- Power User
The power users are truly the ones who know the most about their PCs. They require strength and they know how to best use that strength. Nothing but the best will do for these people - all components, aside from the video card (an integrated one should suffice), need to be at their utmost peak.
Therefore, I believe that Dell Inspiron i15R-1633sLV is pretty good for power users. While it isn't perfect, the 2nd Gen Intel i3 processor and 6 GB of RAM at 1600 MHz will certainly help speed things up in any task :)
- Gaming
The definition of a gaming laptop is basically the same as the power user laptop, except you also add a strong dedicated video card to the equation.
While this laptop may not have said dedicated video card, its HD 3000 can certainly handle quite a bit. Sure, it would have been much better with a HD 4000 GPU, but then the price would have risen quite a lot more as well.
The Dell Inspiron i15R-1633sLV is not a gaming laptop and you won't be able to play all the latest titles. Some of the newer games are playable with the lowest settings though.
PROs Vs. CONs
The most interesting part of this laptop is perhaps the fact that it has a Pre-Installed version of Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium on 64-bit on it. If you want, you can upgrade to Windows 8 without a whole lot of effort. I believe it will only set you back around 15 dollars.
One of the biggest disadvantages, for me at least, is the lack of a dedicated video card ( granted, the integrated one is strong enough as to handle most things ) and the lack of a numeric keypad.
Also, the fact that it has some pre-installed software is somewhat of a nuisance. Most often they are just trials.

Summary
In conclusion, Dell Inspiron i15R-1633sLV is a laptop that can suit any category, as long as you know your limits and the things to do and not to do. However, I wouldn't really recommend it openly recommend it for Casual Users, as I believe any PC of Under 400 dollars can get that job done pretty well, therefore you don't need to spend all that money on such a powerful laptop.
