Who is it for? discussing who would benefit most from this laptop...
- Student
As a student, you don't really require a whole lot. Of course, having a lot is quite admirable nonetheless. Asus K55A-DH51, especially for such a low price, is great for students. Its large 750 GB hard drive ( at 7200 RPM, and may I remind you that 7200 rpm is the fastest speed for a regular hard drive ) and incredibly fast / strong hardware configuration will more than help you in any task you may have for it.
- Casual User
Casual users will definitely benefit from Asus K55A-DH51, but one cannot hep but think that it is a bit too much for them. While I can certainly advise the purchase of this laptop for any task you may have for it, my better half is telling me not to. There are many laptops that can also serve your needs as a casual user for a much cheaper price.
- Business User
The business users will most definitely prosper from the use of this laptop. While it is not as mobile as an Ultrabook, the Asus K55A-DH51 does somewhat resemble it in its design ( somewhat ). What this laptop is great for is performance. Basically, with this device you are trading mobility for power, a trade you will undoubtedly come to see as a Great in the long-run. The large hard drive, extremely fast hardware configuration and a lot of data transfer methods will most certainly aid you in your business practices. If you need to transfer large files, the USB 3.0 will surely make a difference there. Also, the Bluetooth is a great addition if you need to transfer files between mobile devices without cables.
- Power User
Asus K55A-DH51 definitely looks like it was built for power users. The 3rd Gen Intel i5 processor and the really fast RAM of the device will most certainly aid you in all of your multitasking needs. Worry not that this is a Dual-Core, as all i series processors ( even the dual-core ones ) work better than many of the pre-existing quad-core ones you can find on the market. The benchmarking tests don't lie. If you don't believe me, I invite you to search for yourself.
- Gaming
Asus K55A-DH51 is pretty good for gaming purposes. Despite its lack of a dedicated video card, I can personally vouch that the HD 4000 integrated video card of this laptop is more than strong enough as to handle most of the gaming titles. You may not be able to run the newest of titles on High details, but the older ones will work perfectly.
PROs Vs. CONs
Apart from the ultra-strong hardware, one of the many great things about Asus K55A-DH51 is the fact that it has a pre-installed version of Microsoft Windows 8. Not that I'm a huge fan of Windows 8 ( I much prefer 7, personally ), but the fact that the Windows license is included in the laptop's price is a great deal. I don't honestly know about you, but where I live a Windows License can go up to around 150 dollars. Oh and, you would also enjoy the 7200RPM hard drive speed. Most of the budget laptops out there are equipped with hard drives running at the good ol' 5400 RPM speeds. So take advantage!
One of the few disadvantages of this particular laptop would be the lack of a dedicated video card, which I have already mentioned on way too many opportunities how good it can be. Also, the preinstalled programs are pretty good for casual users or people with not a lot of tech savvy, but not so much for the rest of categories.

Summary
In conclusion, this is a laptop that can easily satisfy all categories as far as performance goes, but as far as price is considered, this isn't a laptop that can be purchase by all categories. Also, it would be quite foolish not to buy this laptop at this time as it has a huge discount at the moment.
